I've found a photo of the Lange mural from 2007. It wasn't painted over by the council - some lame-arse did a throw-up over it.
The wall got really messy for a while after that, and from memory it was painted grey at some stage, but murals returned soon after.
Thanks Robyn for your photo/link. The Lange wall is now covered in posters. Anyway, perhaps a building may soon go into that space, as the site appears to have been sold.
