Some time in 1983: looking south-west across Auckland, from what was then the tallest building in the city. This photo was taken from the 18th floor of what is now the AXA building on Shortland St. High St is in the foreground. The buildings at the lower left, and palm tree at the lower centre of the frame are where the Metropolis building stands today.
